I greatly enjoyed outstandingly accommodating and amicable employees!

It was a beautiful old hotel, nesteled in a historic building. We stayed in a normal double and reasonably large room, which had a view of the corridor. This venue was set in a central area short walk to the main public areas, the restaurant for evening meal, and large well-kept gardens. Moreover, it was 2 km from Raydale Park Stadium.

We liked its excellent quality breakfasts!

This hotel was nice place for exploring Gretna Green, really enjoyed it and venue’s especially helpful and very friendly staff who acted quickly on your request. The beds were comfortable, rooms extremely pleasant and updated. The breakfast was included and had plenty of meals.

The breakfast was full cooked on bringing out food when ran out of items, reasonably priced. In my case they offered wheelchair accessible room with a fully opening window as well as slippers and that was great. Pretty friendly personnel from the cleaner to the duty manager and kept the hotel clean.

We liked being here. The hotel was fairly clean, the staff were really friendly. It was top-notch, functional and with lovely view. The location couldn't be more particularly good to all the local attractions.

Superior and fairly clean place, amazing view of the sunset and sunrise from our bed. What a wonderful and fab location close to Gretna shopping outlet! And near probably Scotland's, and England and NE Scotland. Absolutely excellent staff who acted quickly on your request, newly remodelled twin/double room. Fairly clean bathrooms with a bath.

The rooms are recently renovated in the luxurious comfort of the borbone smyth suite, so that guests have essentials. Location is amazing and incredible, close to Gretna shopping outlet. Also, it is so close to the local shops, the breakfast/dining room/restaurant and gorgeous gardens.

This is a hotel go-to for Gretna Green! Superior and relaxing place all in all, has excellent staff who acted quickly on your request. It's recently renovated with very comfy beds and amazing views.

Superior traditional hotel for 1 night in Gretna Green. Brilliant food, really friendly staff who acted quickly on your request. Location - particularly good, very close to a modern decorated restaurant, and the communal areas and friendly staff. Also, in a nice convenient area.

The staff were really nice and friendly, always ready to help us with any requests we had. The breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of options to choose from. The location of the hotel was ideal, with easy access to key attractions in the area.

The rooms definitely need upgrading as soon as possible. While they were clean and tidy, they lacked the modern amenities and comfort that you would expect.

Pleasant hotel with excellent personnel. Units in dressing mirror out. Bonus point for a kettle, central heating and an iron. All in all unbeatable and easy setting so close to restaurant as well as shops. Good service and cosy ambiance.

Comfortable base for 2 nights. Marvellous location in beautiful gardens with lovely views. For tea or coffee visit Mathieson's nearby. Excellent service, including courteous staff and good Wi-Fi.

The location is absolutely stunning, surrounded by gorgeous gardens and offering views of the nearby attractions. The staff provided excellent service, from the friendly reception to the helpful housekeeper. Our rooms were clean, comfy, and even had small patios with garden furniture where we could relax outside. The amenities were top-notch, including room service, laundry facilities, and a welcome drink. The hotel also offers tours and ticket assistance, which we found very convenient. the level of comfort, service, and amenities provided enhanced our stay and made it truly enjoyable.

We would recommend this hotel to everyone.
